Practical custom manufacturing
Narwhal3D provides custom 3D printing, print-preparation guidance for customer-provided models, selected ready-to-ship shop products, and printer-service support. Product availability, material choices, lead times, and service areas may change. We may decline work that we cannot safely, lawfully, or responsibly perform.
Quotes and approvals
A quote is the production plan
Automated estimates and initial conversations are not final offers. Before production, we may confirm the design, material, color, finish, quantity, tolerance, turnaround, delivery method, and price. Work begins only after the required approval and payment arrangements are complete.
Because additive manufacturing involves layer lines and material variation, an approved quote describes the relevant manufacturing target rather than guaranteeing a result outside the agreed specification.
Payments
Payment before or as agreed
Store items are charged through the checkout flow. Custom work may require full payment, a deposit, or a Stripe invoice after review. Taxes and shipping are shown when applicable. A request to cancel should be sent promptly; custom work already started or materials acquired specifically for a project may not be refundable.
Your files and rights
You authorize the work
You confirm that you own or have permission to manufacture every file, design, logo, and instruction you submit. You remain responsible for the intended use of the finished part and for providing complete requirements where fit, load, heat, weather, chemical exposure, or cosmetic appearance matters.
Delivery and returns
Made to the approved plan
Turnaround and delivery estimates are not guarantees unless confirmed in writing. Customers are responsible for providing a complete shipping address and inspecting a delivery promptly. Custom-made items generally cannot be returned for preference changes after approval. If a part is damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved specification, contact customer support with the order number and photos so we can assess a reprint, replacement, repair, or refund.
Safe and lawful use
Some uses need separate review
Do not submit unlawful, infringing, unsafe, deceptive, or weapons-related work. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, Narwhal3D parts are not certified for medical, life-safety, pressure-containing, food-contact, aviation, or other regulated uses. You are responsible for evaluating whether a part is suitable for its intended application.
Accounts and site use
Keep access accurate and respectful
Use accurate information for your account and keep your sign-in access secure. Do not interfere with the website, access another customer’s information, or use the service to upload harmful material. We may suspend access needed to protect customers, operations, or the service.
