What we collect
Information needed to serve you
Depending on how you use Narwhal3D, we collect account and contact details such as your name and email address; quote details such as project notes, material choices, quantities, and uploaded design files; booking details such as a phone number and service address; and store-order details such as shipping information, items purchased, and order status.
Our site and service providers may also receive limited technical information generated by your browser or device, such as IP address, browser information, and information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How we use it
To make the work happen
We use information to create and manage customer accounts, review and quote jobs, communicate about projects, schedule service visits, process shop purchases, manufacture and ship parts, provide tracking and support, protect the site, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
We do not use customer design files as products or marketing material without permission.
Payments
Card details stay with Stripe
Shop payments and invoices are processed by Stripe. Narwhal3D does not store complete payment-card numbers. Stripe receives the information needed to process payment, calculate applicable tax, prevent fraud, and provide payment support.
Design files
Your models remain yours
We use submitted files to review, quote, manufacture, support, and reproduce your authorized orders. Please do not upload information that is unnecessary for manufacturing or exceptionally sensitive without contacting us first.
Your choices
Access, correction, and deletion requests
You can ask about the personal information associated with your account, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable by emailing Clairebowers@narwhal3d.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when necessary to complete an order, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.
Security and retention
Practical safeguards
We use safeguards designed to limit access to customer information and protect it during collection, storage, and transmission. No system is completely secure, so please keep account credentials, payment details, and unusually sensitive information out of ordinary email.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve issues, and comply with legal obligations.
